Day 1
Arrive Nairobi where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Accommodation: Norfolk Hotel
Day 2
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to Wilson airport for your flight to Meru.
You are met on arrival and transferred to the camp. Kenya's best kept secret, the untamed wilderness of Meru National Park is best explored from its hidden jewel, Elsa's Kopje. Made famous by the film Born Free and George Adamson's lions. Each of the 10 individually built cottages are luxuriously appointed, and all are considered the ultimate room with a view.

Enjoy lunch at the camp and an afternoon game drive.

Day 3
Enjoy a full day in Meru National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Here visitors will see a more diverse range of species than in any other Park or Reserve. Regular sightings include Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Elephant, Grevy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Lesser Kudu, Grants Gazelle, Leopard, Lion, Cheetah, Rhino and the rare, elusive Greater Kudu. Meru is famous for its bird life, including riverine and forest species as well as the arid dry country species.

Day 4
Early morning game drive returning to camp for breakfast. Later check out and transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Samburu National Reserve and your camp.

Samburu Intrepids offers 27 luxurious tents with large four-poster beds and classic safari furniture, modern en suite bathrooms with steaming hot showers. The bathrooms also offer twin washbasins, flush toilets, and sockets for shavers and battery charging. The tented camp roofing is all palm-thatched, and is raised on stilts to catch the cooling breeze blowing off the river.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive and dinner at the camp.

Day 5
Full day in Samburu National park with morning and afternoon game drives.
Samburu Intrepids will show you this dramatic wilderness from a world of fascinating perspectives: through game drives, walking safaris with skilled Samburu guides, sedate camel rides, and raft trips when the river is high.

Day 6
Early morning game drive returning to camp for breakfast. Later check out and be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to the Masai Mara

You are met on arrival and transferred to the camp. Governors Camp nestles in the forest along the winding banks of the Mara River, its waters teeming with bird-life, hippo and crocodile. Some of the 37 tents line the riverbank, with uninterrupted views over the Mara River others have views across the sweeping plains. Everything is under canvas, all tents have en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water and flushing toilets.

Day 7 & 8
Two full days in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives, walking safaris or optional visits to a Masaai Village. The Masai Mara boasts 1,672 sq. kilometers of unspoilt wilderness. It offers the best game and bird-viewing not only in Kenya, but anywhere in Africa. The views across the rolling golden grasslands studded with acacia trees, rivers and forests are dazzling, the sense of space overwhelming.

Day 9
Early morning game drive returning to camp for breakfast.

Later check out and be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi Wilson Airport. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your flight back home.
