Day 3
After breakfast depart on your full day Cape Peninsula Tour.

The Fairest Cape...and it surely is! You'll soon see for yourself where and why it earned its name. Sit back and relax, while taking a drive along the exquisite stretch of coastline known as Millionaire's Paradise - from Camps Bay and Clifton to the exclusive beach hamlet of Llandudno - towards the charming working harbour of Hout Bay; if you so choose, you can embark on an up-close-and-personal Seal Island cruise (own account). Back on terra firma, the tour winds its way along the legendary Chapman's Peak Drive, hugging the cliffs and relishing the breathtaking ocean views, before arriving at our lunch spot of choice (own account): the wild and beautiful Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, an integral part of the world-renowned Cape Floral Kingdom. Returning back along the coast towards the City, visiting the historic naval port of Simon's Town and the endearing penguin colony at Boulders Beach, having experienced The Fairest Cape of All according to Sir Francis Drake.
Return to your hotel in the late afternoon this evening.

Day 4
After breakfast make your own way to the jetty at the Clocktower in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for the half hour boat ride to Robben Island, cruel home of Nelson Mandela for so many years.

Robben Island is now a World Heritage Site with stunning views of Cape Town and Table Mountain. For nearly 400 years Robben Island, 7 miles/12kms off the coast from Cape Town was a place of banishment, exile, isolation and imprisonment. It's a highly charged and emotional moment when you visit the site of this suffering, and realize how far South Africa has come from those days.

This afternoon you will be at leisure to visit Table Mountain (weather permitting). Make your own way to Table Mountain, which is well known for its spectacular views. The new revolving cable cars give stunning views over the city. The summit of Cape Town's world-famous landmark is 1,086 meters/3258 feet above sea level and the mountain itself is a national monument. From the summit you can marvel at the awe-inspiring 360-degree view of the city.

After making your descent you will have the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

The 166 en-suite rooms are opulent offering 24 hour room service, spectacular restaurant and lounge, pioneering fitness centre and health spa. Day 7
After breakfast this morning you will have an early transfer to Johannesburg Airport for your flight to Hoedspruit where you will be met on arrival and transferred to your lodge.

Kapama River Lodge is so named because it lies in a curve of the Kapama River, which is usually dry but floods from time to time and can reach the steps of the lodge swimming pool. Each spacious room at Kapama River Lodge features a full en-suite bathroom and terrace with uninterrupted views into the leafy-green "Big Five" game reserve. The central guest entertainment areas include a large rim-flow swimming pool with sun umbrellas and recliners for lazy afternoons. The long L-shaped relaxation lounge and bar under a double-volume thatch, curves around the pool and on either side is a huge double-sided fireplace creating an open-plan yet cozy atmosphere. The Rhino Boma dining area with tables arranged under a low thatch in a horseshoe curve has a central open space where a roaring outdoor fire gives a glow to evening meals. Buffet-style meals introduce African flavours with Pan African dishes using fresh local ingredients and specialist dishes featuring venison like kudu and impala.

In the late afternoon you will be taken on another unforgettable safari in the unspoilt African bush.

Kapama Private Nature Reserve covers 12 000 hectares/30 000 acres of undisturbed bushveld in prime "Big Five", Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard - country. The reserve enjoys panoramic views of the nearby Drakensberg Mountain range and the area supports a wide variety of game including elephants, buffalo, rhino, and a large population of giraffe, impala, blue wildebeest and kudu. Predators include lion, leopard, cheetah and spotted hyena. A small permanent water source lies just beyond Kapama River Lodge perimeter fence attracting animals like antelopes, elephant and buffalo.
