Day 1
Depart from New York or Washington, DC on your international South African Airways flight to Cape Town, South Africa via Johannesburg.

Day 2
On arrival at Johannesburg's Oliver Tambo International Airport's Central Terminal Building, collect your luggage and then clear Customs & Immigration. Re-check your bags for your domestic flight to Cape Town. Then upon arrival at Cape Town Airport, you will be met by a Lion World Tours representative and transferred to your hotel, where you will spend 4-nights on a bed and breakfast basis.

The city is dominated by Table Mountain, set on a peninsula of soaring, rocky heights and lush valleys, where two oceans converge - Indian and Atlantic.

A day of leisure to explore Cape Town or on request we can arrange additional sightseeing or a car rental.

See iconic buildings, snatches of its history, and experiences unique to this City. Take the cable car to the summit of the legendary Table Mountain - weather permitting - and from there, you'll be able to see to the end of our world, including the City and surrounding layout of this southernmost tip of Africa. After that visit the country's oldest building, The Castle, and a short distance away, the Company Gardens, both historically fascinating and well conserved. The drive continues past Parliament Buildings, City Hall and the Slave Lodge, and you'll sense the depth of history via their distinctive architecture. Colonial then changes to colorful, as the tour moves up the cobblestoned hills to the Malay Quarter, and marvel at the ice-cream colors of the quaint Bo-Kaap homes. Day 5
Spend your last day in Cape Town doing some last minute shopping or visit one of the many places of interest.
Cape Town is a fabulously diverse and vibrant city; from its beautiful natural attributes to its colorful culture, stunning wine farms and captivating history - it's a tourist heaven. While South Africa is perhaps best known for its game parks and natural splendors; it is also a land whose cities exude urban sophistication, rich in history, the arts, entertainment and other cosmopolitan delights.

Day 6
After breakfast today you will be transferred by road to Hermanus, where you will spend 2-nights at The Marine Hermanus on a bed and breakfast basis.
