Depart from New York (JFK) or Washington (Dulles) on your international South African Airways flight to Cape Town, South Africa via Johannesburg.

On arrival at Johannesburg's Oliver Tambo International Airport's Central Terminal Building, collect your luggage and then clear Customs & Immigration. Re-check your bags for your domestic flight to Cape Town.
On arrival at Cape Town Airport you will be met by a Lion World Tours representative and taken by private transfer to the 15 on Orange Hotel.

Today you will be taken on a half day Winelands tour.

The backdrop of the Hottentots Holland Mountains, the white gabled Cape Dutch homesteads and the oak-lined streets and lanes all blend in to give this place a charm that will not be quickly forgotten. See some of the wine estates that were developed by early settlers who produced the wines sought after by Napoleon, Bismarck and royalty such as Edward VII. Stop for a wine-tasting on an estate, where you will have the opportunity to purchase some of the wines.

Day 5
Spend your last day in Cape Town doing some last minute shopping or visit one of the many places of interest.

Today you will be transferred from your hotel to Cape Town airport for your flight to Port Elizabeth. You will be met and transferred by road to Pumba Private Game Reserve, where you will spend three nights with all meals included and two game drives daily.

Day 7
Take an early game drive, which is an awe-inspiring experience and will always be remembered. Try and spot the Big-5 however, there are countless smaller species, which are just as fascinating and exciting to discover. Your qualified guide will point these out and reveal fascinating facts about the abundance of plant- and animal life within the Pumba Reserve.
Safari drives are conducted on open Land Rovers so that guests have an uninterrupted view of the landscape and its wild residents around them. Your guide may uncover a termite nest or venture off the road in pursuit of a pride of lions. There are no holds barred to ensure that you get the most out of your safari experience. After the game drive, drinks and snacks can be enjoyed with other guests amidst the plants and animals. The White Lions of Pumba are always a favorite sight. There are only four White Lion prides in South Africa, and Pumba's is the only one in the Eastern Cape.

Day 8
Enjoy a morning game viewing activity in this spectacular wildlife kingdom. Spend the hottest part of the day relaxing around the pool or perhaps take a siesta to make up for the early morning wake-up call. Take a late afternoon safari drive where you will get the chance to see an entirely different array of animals as they come out of their hiding places to hunt and forage in the cool darkness. These include the otherwise elusive Aardvark, hyena and Aardwolf. Lions also make use of the cooler conditions to make impressive kills, which some guests may be privy to witnessing.

Hiking and Botanicals:
Qualified rangers are on hand and will plan a specific route according to the fauna and flora in which you are most interested. These walking safaris are conducted in the hills of the Yellowwoods Farm at the reserve. After indulging in the beauty of the Eastern Cape, enjoy a picnic under the towering Yellowwood trees, accompanied by a symphony of wildlife noises.
Star-gazing:
Africa is known for its high, open skies. These are even more magical when out in the South African bushveld, where the stars and moon are the only sources of light. Pumba's field guides will interpret and reveal the wonders of the South Celestial Skies, navigation by night and the Southern Cross or Orion's Belt.
Bass Fishing:
For the ultimate in serenity and relaxation, sit on the banks of the gorgeous Lake Kariega for a day of bass fishing. Pumba Private Game Reserve will provide fishing rods, lures and tackle to guests.
Birding:
