Day 1
Depart from Toronto to either New York or Washington, DC for your flight to Cape Town, South Africa via Johannesburg on South African Airways.

Day 2
On arrival at Johannesburg's Oliver Tambo International Airport's Central Terminal Building, collect your luggage and then clear Customs & Immigration. Re-check your bags for your domestic flight to Cape Town. Then upon arrival at Cape Town Airport, you will be met by a Lion World Tours representative and transferred to your hotel.

Day 3
Today you will be taken on a half day Winelands tour. While South Africa's fertile valleys are world famous for their crisp white and classic French-style red wines, the Winelands area is also a treasury of rustic beauty and sprawling estates shaded by giant oak trees. The backdrop of the Hottentots Holland Mountains, the white gabled Cape Dutch homesteads and the oak-lined streets and lanes all blend in to give this place a charm that will not be quickly forgotten. See some of the wine estates that were developed by early settlers who produced the wines sought after by Napoleon, Bismark and royalty such as Edward VII. Stop for a wine-tasting on an estate, where you will have the opportunity to purchase some of the wines.

Day 4
Today is a day of leisure to enjoy the wonderful city of Cape Town.
Cape Town is a city with a diverse range of attractions, sights and activities to offer and has something for everyone. From the landmark beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay to the vibrant V&A Waterfront and Cape Town city center, the award-winning wine farms of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek - time spent in Cape Town will not be forgotten.
Cape Town is a sophisticated city at the gateway to a majestic continent. The Mother City is a place where old and new harmoniously converge - in history, architecture, cultural pursuits and the essence of its people. Day 5
Spend your last day of leisure in Cape Town perhaps doing some shopping or visiting one of the many places of interest.
Cape Town is a fabulously diverse and vibrant city; from its beautiful natural attributes to its colorful culture, stunning wine farms and captivating history - it's a tourist heaven. Cape Town offers historic and cultural sites, world-class museums and bustling markets, inviting beaches and lush gardens, as well as great restaurants and wonderful shopping.
While South Africa is perhaps best known for its game parks and natural splendors, it is also a land whose cities exude urban sophistication, rich in history, the arts, entertainment and other cosmopolitan delights.

Day 6
Today you will be transferred from your hotel to Cape Town Airport in time for your scheduled flight to Mpumalanga where you will be met and transferred to the Protea Hotel Kruger Gate, where you will spend three nights. Begin your stay with an exciting afternoon game drive today.
Situated on the banks of the Sabie River, Protea Hotel Kruger Gate offers luxury air-conditioned accommodation that will make you feel like part of the bush, as will dining under the stars in African style. Enter a world of suspended timber walkways threading through indigenous forests alive with birdsong. Day 8
Explore the experience that is the Kruger National Park by going on an optional walking trail with an expert guide, or an optional game drive in the wilds. Day 9
Later this morning you will be transferred to Mpumalanga for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 11
After breakfast a guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of seven natural wonders of the world. This walking safari takes you through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the Cataracts, Livingstone's statue and a wide variety of birds and plants.
Finish off the afternoon with a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. After returning to the Lodge, enjoy a cultural, fun filled dinner at "The Boma Place of Eating", set in the nearby Gusu Forest, just 500 meters from the Lodge. The Boma offers a unique African experience combining atmosphere, entertainment and hospitality with mouth-watering local dishes. Both of the restaurants at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge have received major accolades at the recent 'Zimbabwe on a Plate' annual national restaurant awards.

THE VICTORIA FALLS HOTEL
The Victoria Falls Hotel is the oldest hotel in Zimbabwe, built in 1904 when the planned Cape to Cairo railway reached the Victoria Falls. It is set in the Victoria Falls National Park with a private path to the Victoria Falls. The hotel has an atmosphere steeped in history, combining the charm of the old with the comfort and convenience of today. With its old world charm, guests are assured of a memorable stay in what is undoubtedly one of the few remaining hotels of its kind in the world.
